JetBlue Badges

JetBlue is one of the largest and most popular air lines in the USA. In 2004 the company launched the loyalty program for its customers.

In 2013 the program reached 12 000 000 members. Around that time the company decided to engage the customers even more, while incresing their loyalty and augmenting brand awareness.

During the business analysis stage SoInteractive team designed the whole engagement cycle for the TrueBlue members, which later became the basis for planning and designing next stages of the gamification platform.

As a result the gamification program called TrueBlue Badges was born. The users can collect badges & rewards, advance on higher levels and get engaged in social media.

Based on the game results, a personalised map of flights across The United States is created for each user, which is then sharable among friends.

A badge is a virtual award granted for facing challenges and fulfilling activities, both within the web portal and during ticket reservations, purchases or flights. A set of leaderboards displaying the most loyal users serves as an additional motivator.
